Spam

Forward this blog to your friends else one of the following thing will happen:
1./ you will fall down every time you get up in a recursive manner.
2./ either your friends will talk to you or don't (emphasis is on uncertainty).
3./ taps will run dry at the crucial moment during your daily routine.
4./ your girlfriend will look at ten next guys.
5./ your boyfriend will continue to oogle next 14 beauties (definition of beauty might vary for boyfriend to boyfriend, for e.g. for some there are 2 types of girls in the world, beautiful and very beautiful).

Well list can go on and on. But do us all a favor, when next time a crap comes in the email, (Crap /kra ap/ meaningless emails which threaten to make world fall upon you or stupid emails with dogs, or godly messages or how a man should behave or how a woman or beloved should be treated or understood for greatness or how a guy understood a value of life or blood donations or Microsoft donating money for every forward etc.), do not forward. No matter how many people think, there is actually no reason, literally no reason to forward. You are probably literate enough to understand this is a spam and you are contributing to the spam. Besides, you should know your friends don't like it as well. They think, Oh God!! who is this damn guy/gal sending spams to friends of friends. I think, email forwarding habit is inversely proportional to I.Q. level of the sender.

Well it affects the world as well. The spams contribute to GHG (greenhouse gases) up to 0.2%. It is equivalent to pollution made by 1.5 million households or some 3million cars (according to article in Economist).

Space Debris

Link to news on Times of India

Mankind is at it again. And the cycle is repeating itself on a bigger scale than anyone to see it. Maybe no one is left by that time to experience the bigger calamity. Recently I have seen an animated movie Wall-e, where everyone leaves the planet earth and go on to reside on some spaceship. Why is it that always the developed nations start it and then when the time comes it puts the blame on developing and emerging economies for not doing much about the issue?

Recently two space satellites (Russian and Iridium communications) collided with each other and debris, which is into million pieces now, will continue to orbit the earth. This is the first major collision of its kind, whereas the four other "minor" ones have already happened. And after this event itself it has become difficult for space shuttles to venture out of Earth's proximity.

As of Wednesday, there were 9,831 pieces of manmade debris - not counting anything from Tuesday's collision -orbiting Earth. The items, at least 4 inches (10 centimeters) in size, are being tracked by the US Space Surveillance Network, which is operated by the military. The network detected the two debris clouds created Tuesday.

Can you believe this!! Who should be held responsible for this? We can draw analogous to a similar situation, in front of us, which is regarding depletion of ozone layer and global warming. Up till now Kyoto protocol has been agreed upon. Reason: differences between developing and developed economies and who is paying for all this – all the third world countries.  All the carbon trading mumbo jumbo is farce and an act to mislead the entire world. Who is seeing what an environment polluting organization is doing in Africa about compensating for its act.
