India's 9/11 and politicians

We are at it again. It was saddening to see Ms Jayanti Natrajan of congress and Mr. Rudy of Bjp fighting over terror issue. Mudslinging on each other's party. What they don't understand is that their party got elected in various state assembly election because of lack of options and not of their policies. And it seems they are OK with it which is more saddening. They were on the edge after 26/11, rather all the politicians were running for their lives.
Pakistan has reluctantly agreed to look in their backyard for guys. But who can blame pakistan when are politicians lack intent themselves.

Culprit : Google maps

It is learnt that terrorists moved around comfortably in south mumbai. They knew the roads and lanes like they have played gilli danda over there. How? They used google maps and memorized the layout. The priint media has strongly raised concern over google maps helping terrorists. In suppot they mentioned that our previous prez APJ Kalam had raised voice that these maps are athreat to military and defence establishment. The sentiment that came out from that article was to ban google maps. What next ? Blackberry , mobile phones, trawlers, skoda, taxi. The only solution is to stay vigilant.

Aftermath of 26/11

Last blog was written on the day that shocked the whole india, the terrorists attack on mumbai at Taj, Oberoi, Churchgate Station, Nariman house and six other places. The aftermath of that 60hrs hostage situation has terrified me even more. For the starters, Kerala CM, Mr. Achyutanandan, when turned down by Late Major Unnikrishanan's grieving father, mentioned that not even a dog would have come to their house, had he not a martyr's house. What a way to give condolences! By the way who is asking these politicians to sympathize when they don't feel the same. Seriously ! Mr R.R.Patil aaccidently spilled out how he felt about the whole situation - these small incidents happen in big cities. It is no big deal. This is from that person, maharastra's home minister, who is supposed to stop all this. Instead he was too happy banning the dance bar. Listen to another case, BJP's Mr. Abbas named the women protestors, who are angered by the this lack lusture performance by important ministers, as lipstick clad terrorists. According to him, they are anti-democracy. Maharastra's CM went on a stroll with his son and probable future film producer on terrotist plot, Mr Ram Gopal Verma to the site after terrorists were terminated. Congress' Prince and PM-in-waiting, Rahul Gandhi had a blast and party just a day after this catastrophy struck mumbai. Country is certainly gone to dogs.

Technology

Sitting in the auto, going home, I would never have thought of blogging. Can you imagine catching up with this lost hobby while commuting to gym. Technoloy has really caught up with common man. Though I am still waiting for 3G to roll, nevertheless gprs is average. I still have to figure out ways to post blog using email. That would save precious MBs as I would not have to open blogger website. It's cool really. So much to write about... Anyway will continue tomorrow. Destination reached. Thught of test blog halfway.

Chaos - Whatz going on ??

At one point of time, it appears that it is nearly impossible to improve the situation in country. The only good part of the story is that we are developing at a rate of 8% despite all this. But how shallow or sustainable is this growth? In one picture it appears whole country is disintegrating. Starting from top, Kashmir is the bone of contention between India and Pakistan. Pakistan treats that as it's part. While India treats it as still the controversial land and believes it will become rightfully ours only after Pakistan and India mutually agrees. Infiltration is continuously funded by miscreants in Pakistan. Chanakya once said, "if someone betrays you for the first time, it is his fault. If the same person betrays you the second time, it is your fault and you are to be blamed." The whole of government machinery seems to be farce. At one point our elected candidates in Lok Sabha create raucous, demanding resignation from Tom Dick and Harry. On the other hand Tom, Dick and Harry are busy formulating stupid legislations such as retirement age of AIIMS director to be reduced, whether there should be damn reservation at a particular institute or not etc, etc.

Left is holding government's hand in signing Civil Nuclear Treaty with US with in turn boost the energy supply in so called developing India. On recent news in TIMES NOW, Jyoti Basu, ex-CM West Bengal, slams West Bengal Governor on saving electricity. His statement being, "Governor is behaving like child and he should maintain dignity." What logical sense these old people make, it is just difficult to comprehend. Yesterday there was a debate on whether M.F. Hussain acquittal on painting Bharat Mata is justified or not. There was a statement in the debate which according to me summed up all what is going on. The protesters of the painting were asked whether they have seen Bharat Mata painting. None of them could say yes. Then how are they offended. This is because political parties like Bajrang Dal and Siv Sena decided to have a controversy on their name and gave the public the wrong message.

Different States of India are behaving as an independent country. Starting from north, Jammu and Kashmir govt, Mufti (PDP) in his speech suggested a dual currency (Indian and Pakistan) mode in the region. They forgot whether it is in safeguard of India as a whole and what impact will it make on India'a stand on PoK.
Coming down from there to Punjab: Sikhs in Canada honoured the persons involved in Indira Gandhi assasination and Babbar Khalsa. They demanded a separate country as Khalistan.
Seriously it is high time, we learn from our mistakes and focus on essential things first. This is adding to list of such demands from other regions of India.
Gujarat is playing it's own kind of Hindu religion politics though the development of the state silences the critiques. So I will not say much on the issue. UP and Bihar constantly ignoring development. Mayawati government is happily erecting statutes of Mayawati, Kanshiram and B.R.Ambedkar. Mayawati poineering caste based politics is a blot on the face of development. (more about UP in next blog). The West Bengal is lagging behind in development with left based politics. They eventually accept the development and technology when it becomes 10-20 years behind schedule.
The north-east has issues of their own. China is asking for Arunachal Pradesh in a similar fashion as Pakistan is showing it's right on PoK. Seriously is everything falling apart. Assam's ULFA wants a country of their own. Man, how would you run your state-turned country. Where will the money and resources and technology come from. Then going south to Maharastra. NavNirmanSena is criticizing Amitabh Bachchan for not doing much for Mumbai. And giving provoking speech in public. This has led to ministers protesting in Lok Sabha and destroying the decorum of the house. Further down Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are fighting over Cauvery water and not coming to mutual decision.

What is going on in the country. These are just instances in the ocean of the corruption and chaos. Railways, Police, Education personnel all taking corrupt ways to benefit. It is high time we learn from our mistakes. Because it is not far when we will fall apart and we will be so much divided so as to raise a united voice.
